Babs has landed: Barbra Streisand arrives in Israel for Shimon Peres 90th birthday concert

Legendary American singer Barbra Streisand has landed in Israel to perform at a conference in honour of Israeli President Shimon Peres' birthday. This will mark the first time the Jewish singer has perfomed in Israel. During her visit she will receive an award for her humatiarian efforts and continuous dedication to Israel from Jerusalem's Hebrew University, who named its school of Jewish studies after Streisand's father, Emanuel. Babs will hold two additional public concerts in Israel on June 20, and another on June 22, both will take place in Bloomfield Staidium in Jaffa.
