Couple Celebrates 70th Anniversary With Wedding Photo Shoot They Never Had

When Ferris and Margaret Romaire married in November 1946, it was a 15-minute ceremony and there were no cameras present to document it. This year for their 70th anniversary, their granddaughter contacted her friend Lara Carter, who owns Lara Carter Photography to do a special photo shoot. She said her grandparents thought it was silly, but when the photos were taken on October 12, they "got really into the photo shoot." Ferris wore a tux and Margaret wore a lavender dress she bought for $5.
