Fire Captain Speaks of Harrowing Highway Crash:God is there

DAYTON -- Dayton Fire Capt. Barry Cron is recovering well after getting hit by a car on icy US 35 on Tuesday morning.Cron was along US 35, assisting in multiple crashes when he was hit and thrown 15-20 feet into a guardrail. The video of his crash, posted first by ABC 22/FOX 45, has gone viral, and Cron says he has watched the video several times.€œI€™m here because of God,€ Cron said. He said he was conscious the entire time during the crash and remembers everything.He has some fractures and bruising but is expected to make a full recovery and possibly be back at work in about six weeks.€œHe is a walking miracle,€ his wife, Allison, said, while holding his hand during the news conference.
