Pops, a Los Angeles drug dealer formerly known as "El Diablo," didn't want his family to be exposed to his dangerous business and addictions. Faced with a decision he packed up and left them. For 30 years, the absences of his wife and two children were filled by heroin, alcohol, morphine and methadone. It wasn't until 2009 that Pops finally decided to get clean and save his own deteriorating life. After joining Union Rescue Mission, he kicked his addictions and set out to find his children. When they finally found each other, it was a homecoming like he never imagined, proving that even 30 years of addiction is only a "yesterday" if you do what's right.
