Israel or Church? Which is which?
What are the differences between Israel and the Church? We may even ask if there are any differences?
That is what I will look at in this particular video. We will work from what the LORD promised Abraham when he was still Abram, that he would become a father of nations, to Paul, that declared that the wall has been removed between Israel and the gentiles in Ephesians 2. What does it actually mean?
In particular I will be looking at the covenant with Abraham, and its effects. Some of the lessor know scriptures in the New Testament that sheds light on the covenant comes from Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” Here we find that those that overcame, were in a covenant relationship with the LORD, as they placed themselves under the Blood of Jesus, their lives exhibited a life of a child of God, and they took up their cross, died, and followed Jesus by getting baptized as believers. We have to remember that one cannot be born again if you did not die of yourself first.

Please remember the following passages before you jump to conclusions. Matthew 21: 33-46: “"Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT AND DUG A WINE PRESS IN IT, AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey. "When the harvest time approached, he sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his produce. "The vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third. "Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them. "But afterward he sent his son to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.' "But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, 'This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.' "They took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. "Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?" They *said to Him, "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons." Jesus *said to them, "Did you never read in the Scriptures, 'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone; THIS CAME ABOUT FROM THE LORD, AND IT IS MARVELOUS IN OUR EYES'? "Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people, producing the fruit of it. "And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust." When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them.”
The other passage comes from Luke 19 verses 42-44: saying, "If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. "For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side, and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation."
