The Richards family of Jamaica lived in a tarp-covered shack before Food For The Poor donors intervened and built them a new home.
Young Tashana was so grateful for her family's new home, she sent FFP a beautiful thank you letter.
"I used to worry at nights because I was afraid people would come in and do bad things. We had no door... But now I am safe. We have locks on the door and my friends can visit. Thanks to all the people who gave this to us. It is the best time in our life."
