Lover's Island: Island's Satellite Image Looks Like "Broken Heart"

<p><span>Recent Google Earth images show what looks like two big bandages over this tiny heart-shaped Croatian island, making it the second most liked in a satellite image contest by DigitalGlobe.</span><br /><br /><span>Also known as the "Lover's Island", the tiny Croatian isle of Galesnjak boasts that "it is the most heart-shaped naturally formed island in the world." Despite images from February 2013 showing what looks like two big bandages over it, it is currently the second most liked in a satellite image contest by DigitalGlobe.&nbsp;</span><br /><br /><span>The two bandaged scars reflect the areas where the land has been bulldozed to make way for romantic walking paths to be planted with 250 olive trees. The owners also plan to build a dock for boats arriving at the island.</span></p>
