As playwright River Jordan was preparing for her two sons' deployments to Iraq and Aghanistan she found herself praying for them constantly whenever she had a few moments.
At the same time she was trying to think of a New Year's Resolution for the upcoming year. Suprising herself, she thought of one that would turn her focus to others rather than herself... She would pray for a complete stranger every single day of the upcoming year.
