Spiritual Reflections in an Age of Terrorism

<p><span>Isis commits acts of terrorism in order to start a war between Islamic states and Western nations. This sermon asks those who are frightened and angry about the terrorist attacks in Paris to remember the domestic terrorist attack in a black church in Charleston, SC this past summer. The shooter in that incident hoped to ignite a race war in South Carolina but there was no war because the surviving members of the Mother Emanuel Church immediately talked about forgiveness and grace rather than revenge.&nbsp;</span></p>
