Seven-year-old bilateral amputee and CAF Spokesperson Cody McCasland visits wounded warrior Kevin McCloskey, a U.S. soldier who was permanently injured while protecting our freedom in Afghanistan.
Arranged by Kevin's girlfriend Lauren Baukus, the McCasland family and the Challenged Athletes Foundation, Inside Edition captured the touching moment when Cody surprised Kevin at this apartment in San Antonio just before his 16th surgery. Kevin had listed Cody as the one person he wanted to meet on his MySpace profile after learning about Cody at the Brook Army Medical Center. It was a heartfelt encounter that has not only inspired this country, but the world.
